How extra can a wedding be? A question crossing our minds quite frequently during our human lives. The answer: it can be as extra as you want it to be. But what has a wedding to do with a fashion week? A lot...
We, fashion experts, often come across a reasonable question: is the style launched by fashion weeks able to blend into our everyday life? Milan menswear fashion week gave us the hints. As fashion “pride” starts taking over Milan, JordanLuca probably has the most viable answer to the question above. Or rather the most rational collection. A collection infused with a dark sense of humour, probably that of life itself. I can see traces of k-pop culture combined with punk vibes, all of which are evident in JordanLuca classics. Their signature bomber jacket, double and triple layered with one-piece designs like collars and boxers. Punk-themed details, such as mohawks, tons of plaid, and skirts over pants highlighting life itself. The grooms were gushing with a modern vibe of the same.

“Our muses are in the collection”, Luca said to Culted, “from our families to our best friends, our favourite models that we’ve worked with from Day 1. This is a collection full of love and full of muses”. All the models were beloved people from Jordan and Luca’s environment. I mean, who wouldn’t want their parents walk in their own wedding show? Not that everyone can be... JordanLuca.
“Let them eat cake”, Marie Antoinette said once. But JordanLuca ate it, after the “I do”. Serving a collection is one thing, but serving their wedding cake during a show is next-level diversity marketing.
After all, if I know one thing, the best weddings are the ones you crash. And this one was definitely worth of crashing.
Anna Wintour would approve!
